Dogs are some of the most gentle and kind-hearted creatures around. They are very loving and loyal. If raised in a proper environment and given good training, dogs will have all the essential tools to save lives. But sometimes, their kindness comes out naturally because of their instincts.
One adorable video has surfaced online, showing a small pooch saving the life of a tiny kitten. The stray cat seems to be abandoned and is by itself. Because it is still at a very young age, it is likely that it will not survive the streets on its own. Thankfully, one sweet dog, who was walking with her owner decides to save its life.
Taking a new friend home
The video starts with the gentle dog walking on a narrow pavement, trying to get a little kitty to follow him. As he walked in the front, the kitty decides to go the other way. So the dog runs back and cuts its path. She once again tries to make the kitty follow her. She would walk in front of it, but now, it would look back from time to time to make sure that the baby feline is following.
The video is then cut and resumes when the two furry friends are at their doorstep. As it has been raining, the streets have light puddles. The dog then goes up the step and waits for the kitten to follow her. She would bob her head as she looks at the kitty encouraging it. When she finally made it up the curb, they are one step closer to home.
The dog then goes inside the door urging the kitty to go up the doorway. The kitty seemed to have difficulties taking the final step to its forever home. Eager to welcome the kitten, the dog gently grabs its neck using her mouth. And finally, they are home. It’s easy to say that these two creatures will become the best of friends.
