After being rescued from a shelter, a canine buddy was all two kittens needed to feel loved. The two kittens, James and Jacobi, were rescued by the Alley Cat Rescue, a cat shelter, and were placed under the dog’s care.
Pickles, a deaf 5-year-old pup, was also rescued at a shelter from an unknown fate. After being rescued, he now enjoys life and loves to hug everyone he meets.
Pickles and his family would have foster animals in their home. The furry canine would shower the new fosters with hugs and love, his owners said. Fortunately, the two kittens were no exceptions.
Immediately after James and Jacobi entered the house, the friendly dog cuddled with them and allowed both kitties to approach and play with him.
Pickles made both kittens feel safer and loved and would gently play with them. Naturally, the feline brothers adored their fluffy buddy and became attached to him for comfort and warmth.
Pickles, being the gentle dog that he is, always had a weakness towards kittens and cats in need. Even the timidest cat would feel safe in Pickle’s presence and comfort.
The loving canine watched over the two kittens, guiding them each step of the way. Pickles also allowed the two cats to play on their own and have many different antics that Pickles overlooked.
After playing around the room, James and Jacobi would sit next to their canine best friend and fall asleep together. With Pickles’ help, the two kittens grew into handsome and happy teenage cats.
The two cats were adopted into their new home and moved safely into their new loving family. Pickles couldn’t help but feel proud of the two kittens and looks forwards to caring for more feline friends that come into his home.
