Once you love someone, you want to get to know them more and more. You want to know the things they like and the things they dislike. And as you spend more time with that person, you become even more familiar with their behavior and mannerisms and even what they smell like.
A charming pup named Lyla loves her family very much. Even though Lyla is a deaf and blind pup, she has absolutely no problem identifying the people she loves the most. For this sweet pup, all she needs is her sense of smell and touch to feel the love of her beloved family.
Lyla’s fur dad, Mark Reed, recently shared proof of just how familiar Lyla is with the people she loves. In the short video, Mark set up his seat in their yard where the pup was busy exploring. Lyla had no way of hearing and seeing his fur dad setting up his chair and sitting close to her, but she knew that he was there instantly.
With just one sniff, Lyla detected her dad’s scent and started jumping with joy. The pup excitedly sniffed the air again and again until she finally figured out where her dad was sitting. The pup happily ran to her fur dad with her tail wagging the whole time. When she finally reached her dad, the pup was given loving pats on the back that surely made her happy.
The short but touching video shows just how much Lyla loves and is familiar with her loved ones. Despite not getting to see their faces or hear their voices, their scent is enough for the pup to show her love to them. What a wonderful dog Lyla is, and we are sure her family is as charming as the pup.
