Dogs are animals that relish the feeling of being in the outdoors. A golden retriever named Mungchi is no exception to this. Here is how he spent one of his summers with his owner.
If there is one thing Mungchi loves the most, it’s swimming. That’s why his owner loves to take him to places with waterfalls and springs. He is very adept at swimming.
Mungchi doesn’t only swim; he dives. He positions himself at a nearby rock and dives from there. He learned diving by watching his owner do it.
Mungchi’s owner loves to go to the mountains every weekend during summer. During this time, the retriever has unlimited access to the outdoors. Sometimes it can prove hard to convince the dog to get out of the water.
Even after two hours of swimming, Mungchi doesn’t want to get out of the water. If he decides to get out of the water, he’ll do it because of food. Also, there are times where he would go back to diving after getting dried with a towel.
It’s certainly troublesome for the owner to convince his dog to stop swimming. Nevertheless, he enjoys watching Mungchi swim about and act like he’s in his element. It’s as if his golden retriever was made for swimming.
Mungchi also loves to hike. When he’s taking a break from swimming, he prefers hiking. His owner sees it as another way for him and his dog to dry off. However, as expected, Mungchi will jump at the next pool they encounter during a hike.
This story is a simple and wholesome example of a great dog and owner dynamic. Mungchi’s story doesn’t end there. SBS TV published a continuation of Mungchi’s summer adventure. Check out the documentation below.
