Here is an adorable video that will surely brighten up your day.
Chad Nelson has a 2-year-old son named Conway who has always loved playing with balls in their backyard. And to his surprise, he found a new playmate just over the fence in the next yard.
Nelson shared that he taught Conway how to throw a ball at about 2-weeks-old and that he would put the ball in his hand when he was lying on his back.
The video shows a game of fetch between Conway and Dozer, a playful Labrador retriever. Conway throws the ball over the fence as Dozer waits to catch it at the other side. He then throws the ball back to the little boy and you can see that both of them are playing in delight.
Dozer even manages to catch the first toss.
“It was just a cute thing,” he said. “We just thought Conway was being cute and our friends would like it, and all of a sudden, it’s being shared to thousands of people.”
Isn’t it cute to watch children play with their canine pals? Well, this video proves that a fence cannot hinder a game between two friends who are eager to make things happen.
Nelson also shared that their family has two dogs, but neither one would play fetch with Conway. Can you imagine the excitement to have someone that would? No wonder that Conway got thrilled knowing that he has found a great partner in a game of catch.
The video has even garnered numerous comments about Conway’s good catch.
The video of Dozer and Conway has gone viral and has been shared nearly 300,000 times since it was posted. Indeed it is true that kids and dogs make a great pair and that dogs are a man’s best friend.
