Luigi the cat, and Bandito the Pug love to go on grand adventures with Finn and Sebastian. The four of them were utterly inseparable when something unexpected happened.
Unlikely connection
It all started when Sebastian decided to bring his two fur buddies to their travels. He was reluctant to leave his pets at home whenever he had to work, which lead this his decision.
The two animals thrived in nature and made each other feel safe on every journey they made. Bandito and Luigi always felt comfortable in each other’s company.
Whenever Luigi would jump on Finn’s backpack, it was Bandito’s initial reaction to do the same thing.
The two animals loved being together. Bandito would always be the first one to initiate the cuddling that would often lead to playfighting. The two loved to annoy one another but knew precisely when to tone it down.
Despite having their bad behavior, the two would have a sudden change of heart whenever it was close to dinnertime. They would switch into complete angels and have this sort of teamwork to gain their meals.
Bandito was there for Luigi’s entire lifespan. Luigi was unprepared for what was yet to happen.
Bandito’s farewell
The pug began to act differently. Finn and Sebastian had a gut feeling that Bandito was not in good shape and decided to take him to the vet the next morning.
Bandito started to breathe differently and brought so much medication when they got home. That same night, he didn’t make it.
It was a massive shock to all of them. While looking at Luigi lying on the sofa, they knew that he was aware of what happened.
Luigi showed sadness and isolated himself after. His two owners knew they had to distract him and make him feel better.
After two days, they saw an ad from the Axarquia Animal Rescue center about two five-week-old kittens left in a bin and thought it was fate. Finn and Sebastian went to see them and brought them home the same day.
Since Luigi was still sad at the time, it took about three days before they met one another and week for them to start sleeping beside each other. Soon enough, their friendship blossomed, and they could see Luigi healing.
Everything that transpired seemed like Bandito’s last gift to Luigi. Their owners knew that if Bandito were looking down on them, he’d smile knowing that his best friend was alright.
