Copper has been Andrew D’Amato’s best friend since the day they met in a local shelter back in March. The big, goofy dog loves to go wherever his dad goes. However, Copper loves it the most when he rides Andrew’s convertible.
Andrew could still remember how curious Copper was the first time he got in the convertible. Copper was smelling everything in the car from the seatbelt to the wind. As a basset hound, Copper has an extremely sensitive nose, so the smells in the air overwhelmed and overjoyed him. It was only Copper’s first ride, but he already eagerly stuck his head out the window, feeling the wind and sniffing the air.
To ensure Copper’s safety, Andrew got him a special leash, which buckles into the car. However, after Copper’s first few rides in the convertible, Andrew realized that getting the pup some goggles would be a good idea too.
Initially, Andrew worried that Copper might not like wearing goggles. When the fur dad first put the goggle on his pup, he got a bit too curious. Like everything new to him, Copper tried to eat them to try to understand what they were. However, as soon as Copper had them on, he could barely even notice that he was wearing them.
Now, whenever Copper sees his dad taking the goggles out, he gets super excited. He knows that it’s time for them to go for a ride. The goggles do not only keep Copper’s eyes safe. Whenever people see him wearing it, he makes them all happy to watch him fly by in it too.
Copper loves it when people point at him and take pictures of him. He loves to show off his stylish safety goggles. But, of course, for Copper, there is nothing better about riding the convertible than spending time with his dad.
